• Name and example: UP_TVET labels the campus TVETMARA Kuantan (Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA Kuantan). Manufacturing Engineering (Technology and Process), M56, lists 36 months. Search both the current and former campus name.^[1]

• Who can apply: the course requires Malaysian citizenship and Bumiputera status and lists ages 17–45, with health/colour-vision restrictions. Other courses and other forms of MARA funding can have different age rules.^[1]

• Window: UP_TVET Siri 1/2027 opened 1 October 2026 and closes 6 November for interview courses or 16 November 2026 for non-interview courses. Confirm M56’s actual offering and category.^[2]

Regular entry and remedial Mathematics

MARA’s general KKTM page requires three SPM credits: Mathematics, a Science/Technical/Vocational subject and another subject, plus an English pass. Special conditions may apply.^[3]

Read the regular and remedial routes separately: the M56 page checked on 24 October 2026 retains Mathematics credit in its regular-entry prose and minimum D in its structured table. The same page explicitly provides a one-month Mathematics remedial programme for SPM leavers without the Mathematics credit required for the named engineering diplomas. The general KKTM credit rule is therefore not a complete description of that conditional route. A D is not an unconditional admission offer: ask the campus to confirm the remedial assessment and your complete subject combination.^[1][3]

Costs and first salary

M56’s listing says MARA funds tuition. A full current amount for registration, hostel, meals, equipment, deposits, allowance and any repayment or bond conditions is not published in the checked listing. Sponsored tuition is not proof that every cost is free.^[1]

First salary: a first-salary range for M56 graduates is not published in these official sources. CNC programmer and assistant-engineering roles in the prospect list are possibilities, not guaranteed job titles or earnings.^[1]
